Spiritual Development at Southwestern Adventist University would like to invite students to their annual spiritual retreat.  The retreat will take place at Camp Arrowhead, which is near Glen Rose.  There will be activities such as canoeing and volleyball, along with the chance to get to know God a little better.

“About this time of year, students really need a break, especially because of midterms,” says Bill Kilgore, vice president for spiritual development. “Students don’t have classes that last Friday, so it’s become a tradition to go to the lodge and relax.  It gives students the opportunity to spend time with each other in a way they don’t usually get to. Also, it’s a time to kick back, both spiritually and physically.

Sign up for the retreat at the chaplain’s office in Findley Hall.  The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, Oct. 11. It cost $25 to attend, and the bus is leaving at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 14.   Students will return to Southwestern on Sunday, October 16.
